A very opportunistic moment it was, when I deceided to go for Francis’ wedding at Kanykumari. Infact I made it opportunistic, by having Sruti with Archana, Rachit, Monish & Mohit starting from Delhi, while I joined them at Thane station. Not forget that, I already had a transit station at Vadodra from Ahmedabad.
Yeah, I am already 2 months into PG Photography Course at NID, with a newly bought DSLR Canon EOS 450D and 18-55mm kit lens. It is always true, I would like to vindicate the need of practical knowledge. I started preparing myself by reading pdf documents, watching some well known wedding photographers. I looked at myself and told, I am gonna rock the wedding with speel bound images. I had also bought polarisers, one for 18-55 and 50mm each, worth 3000!!! I haven’t used them till now.
When I had DJ, I am going for this wedding and shooting, he had told me one thing. “I don’t need a wedding album, but I want you to find narratives running in a wedding, or any story, very much away from what we see as wedding photography”. Honestly, I had not understood anything then.
